JOB TITLE: Lead Architect-Defense Systems
LOCATION: Minneapolis, US-MN
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $90000 - $115000
DESCRIPTION:
Selected individual will apply advanced technical principles, concepts, and
theories. Contributes to the development of new ideas for new line of products.
Will work on very complex technical systems problems and provides unique
solutions.
Will be the Lead Systems Architect for various military and defense systems.
Primary responsibility will be to lead a team to define and implement a system
architecture using a combination of networking, data storage and commercial
products into an embedded solution to meet a unique and demanding
Military/Defense environment.
Will also perform systems performance analysis, conduct proposal studies,
generate new system description design overviews, and present design concepts
and ultimate solutions to both internal and external military and defense
customers.
Must have 10-15 years experience with architecting and designing real time
embedded operating systems, commercial computer type architecture ( Pentium,
Spare, PowerPC, etc.) high-speed networking ( Ethernet, Gbit, Fibre Channel,
Wave Division Multiplexing technology, Firewire,), data storage type products
and capabilities (rotating disk, compact Flash, secure digital) and packing of
commercial products for the military and defense industry environment.
Requires a BS degree and prior Defense systems architecting experience
somewhere in your past
MUST be a us citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance
