DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a highly motivated senior QA engineer. We would prefer
to find an individual with QA experience in a software product development
organization. However, we will consider a seasoned IS engineer or System
Administrator who wants to make the move into product development. This
position will have the following responsibilities:
Help to plan, configure, inventory and manage our compatibility test lab
Gathering performance metrics and take part in performance analysis.
Analyze test results and isolate problems
Develop and execute test plans for all stages of the product development
lifecycle
Managing the test schedule and tracking of test milestones.
Working closely with Development, Customer Support, project managers and
teams to assure the compatibility of our products.
Configure complex system and network environment as needed to execute
tests.
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of software QA/testing or IS working experiences
BSCS or equivalent degree or experience.
Experience with Unix and/or Windows NT.
Experience planning and installing complex Internet and/or client-sever
configurations.
Flexible and self-motivated individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment
Experience with Internet networking: firewalls, proxy servers, SMTP
servers, DNS configuration, etc.
Desired Requirements:
Working knowledge of SQL and relational database desired, Oracle a plus.
Experience with Internet software desire.
Shell scripting, PERL and SILK programming experiences are desirable but
applicants with equivalent experience will be considered.
