Employee will identify, develop and design programs and enhancements to
improve the operational efficiencies at Golfsmith in the areas of Order
Entry, Inventory and Supply Chain Planning, Retail POS, Distribution,
Customer Service and E-Commerce. Specifically developer will work with
Oracle 8.0/8i, Oracle Forms, PL/SQL, and BP-Link to enhance Golfsmith's
Oracle Applications Version 11.0.3 system, further extend Golfsmith's
Datawarehouse, and enhance the functionality of Golfsmith's E-Commerce
Web site. Golfsmith is the largest Retailer/Cataloger/E-Commerce Golf
and Golf Accessory company with over $250 million in revenue. Golfsmith
currently has 22 stores and a presence in both Canada and Europe.
***REQUIREMENTS***
The following expertise is required: Oracle Forms 4.5; SQL Plus; PL/SQL
with Oracle 8.0/8i. Candidates with previous experience in Oracle
Applications, specifically 11.0, and BP-Link are desired.
Experience in HTML, Java, Oracle HTP Cartridge and Brio are a plus.
