Senior Software Engineer
FREMONT, CA
Salary: $100,000 - 125,000 / Annually

We are a leading innovator and developer of correction
technologies and software components that efficiently and
reliably enable the delivery of a new class of streaming media
and data distribution applications. We are seeking a Senior
Software Engineer to join our team in delivering innovative and
robust software components for advanced embedded (eg, wireless
handset, Set-Top Box) and infrastructure applications.
Responsibilities:
"A key contributor to the company's software development team,
the successful candidate possesses system software strengths in
both breadth and depth
"Responsible for working closely with customers and company
engineering/ business team members in support of critical company
projects
"Responsible for gathering product requirements and proposing,
implementing, testing and documenting solutions
"Supports internal/customer design reviews
"Participates in developing task specifications and schedules
"Self-directed, agile in supporting multiple product initiatives
in various stages of development
Required Skills/Experience:
"10+ years software development experience, preferably in
embedded environments
"Seasoned C/C++ software developer; strong development
methodology and passionate about delivering high quality and
well-structured code
"Demonstrated capability to deliver commercial quality software
components with experience spanning full development life-cycle
"Expert in use and recommendation of configuration management,
bug tracking and other software development tools
"Strong teamwork skills, leadership ability and demonstrated
initiative in critical company projects
"A self-starter who excels in a small startup setting
"Excellent verbal and written communications skills essential
"Experience with multiple embedded OS / processors desirable
"Knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/UDP/802) desirable
"Experience in OMAP/BREW and/or Set-Top-Box middleware software
desirable
"Experience in multicast, streaming and/or file delivery
applications a plus
Educational Requirements:
"Bachelor's Degree in CS or EE, MS preferred
