Length: Contract to Hire
Location: Newark, NJ

Job Description

Mainframe Engineering assignment for the Japan project. Looking for
applicants that install and maintain products not people that use
products to develop applications. Also, as with all positions for the
Japan project, candidates are required to have business-level
proficiency in reading, writing and speaking Japanese and English. All
candidates need to be Right to Hires and able to travel to Japan if
necessary.

Years of Experience: At least 5 years

Corporate Technology Management, a division within Prudential
Financial, is expanding its current domestic infrastructure support to
include our businesses in Japan. The selected candidate/s will work
with the Corporate Technology Managements (CTM) Mainframe Engineering
Group with primarily responsibilities including development, testing,
maintenance and installation support for z/OS and a variety of
products that comprise the mainframe environments at Prudential.
Additional responsibilities may include the support of Hitachi (VOS)
and/or Fujitsu (MSP) mainframe systems.

Other responsibilities would involve mainframe system automation,
mainframe networking and customer support for the suite of products
that make up the environment. The ideal candidate should have the
significant working experience in the required technical areas and be
highly motivated and have excellent communication skills.
Skills Sets

Expertise installing and/or maintaining one or more of the following
