I'm looking a bit into the Conference Room Java-applet, and I'd like
to know if there's anywhere I can find some documentation on this.

As I understand it; you can access an IRC-server through a
Java-enabled browser, and the files ConferenceRoom.class and cr.zip is
beeing used. cr.zip consists of ConferenceRoom.class and some other
class files.

Is there any documentation on what these files are for, and just _how_
all of this works? And how do I use it?

Hmm... I'm no expert in Java, so I'd really like _any_ info on this.
I've tried to "copy" some of the pages that I've found on the web, and
I've tried to make it all run on my own machine. (I've got an
IRC-daemon and an Apache Web-server, so it would be cool if I could,
somehow, get this to work on these..)

Thanks.

In article <368a5c6e...@news1.c2i.net>, alin...@c2i.net says...
The Conference Room Java Applet is coding to only work when someone is
using the Conference Room Server. There is probably a way around all of
this to which I have no clue. My suggestion would be to download a Java
Client like Javairc2.3 from ftp://ftp.undernet.org. It is basically the
same principle and will allow you to set connections to your network.

Happy New Year and Happy Chatting.
