Random chatting with IRC

Some days ago, I had the idea of the random chat, that's to say a chat
between two people who didn't know themselves before. It has nothing to
do with online dating. What I imagined was discussing, exchanging
points of view on misc subjects (news, personnal life...).
This way you can meet people who are *open minded* (because they accept
to talk to anybody, just for fun). And you don't even need to introduce
yourself. Just talk.
Actually, current communication tools (MSN ICQ Jabber email or even
IRC) often let you talk inside your community. (Damn, again that salad
bowl)
In a word, it's simpler to meet someone in the train than on the
Internet.
ICQ has already developped a feature about random chat, but it has
nothing to do with my idea. In ICQ's, you have to choose the age, sex,
hobbies of your random stranger. As to me, it's dating.
Believe me, it's worth trying ; I already have some random chats, it's
amazing.
Technically, it gives you a random IRC channel to connect.
