irc: web based ?

Hi,
I want to chat using irc. some problem with my network setup.
i cant use irc clients like xchat or mirc because after sometime they
say connection timed out.

i think the ports have been blocked.

But, i want to chat using irc. is there anything like use your browser
and chat using that browser.

something like ur browser connects to another website and using that u
can chat without an irc client on ur machine.

an indirect way of chatting without irc.

Is there anything like this ?.
