Hi Guys,

i'm at office with a LAN connection, but i am behind a firewall,
so i can't irc, is there anyway i can config my mIRC and bypass the firewall
?
cos i kinda miss those chats at work ;p

Which ports are open on your company's firewall? which ports does the
firewall forward?

What *can* you connect to? I've seen some businesses just block common
ports (ie 80 (www), 6667 (irc), etc to block common net activities). If
this is the case, try another irc port, most servers listen on
6666-6669, among other varying ones. Or find a friend running BNC on
some unusual port and bounce to IRC. Or if you can at least telnet
*somewhere* (like a company server), telnet from there to some other
system with access to ircII or Bx.
