alt.irc FYI. As far as my own judgement goes, the FYI is very good
documentation of the general athmosphere, attitude, and authority on alt.irc.

Oddly enough, this is essentially the same cartoony threat that some
anonymous coward made about my parental heritage several years ago
using an anonymous posting service. Even more oddly, you have sworn
up and down for four years that you didn't do it and there is no "proof"
that you did it.
Yet you seem to have been sloppy enough to affix your name to one of
these cartoony threats, perhaps forgetting (or hoping we would have
forgotten) that we would point this out to you on sight. Is this

Besides, if the entire userbase of IRC suddenly got some motivation, I

After my post is submitted to my news host (in this case, newsfeeds.com),
they tack on that horrible monstrosity of a footer under my .signature,
including the two empty lines. There is nothing I can do about it other
than be irritated by it. Thus, the motivation for the snide comment
in my signature. I would prefer that they leave my posts alone, but
I haven't got any control over the matter. I am just an end user.
