ftp://ircii.warped.com/pub/ircII/ircii-2.9-roof.tar.gz exists and is
now available for pre-release testing.

this will hopefully be the last beta release of ircII 2.9.

please run the build `ircbug' script that the client comes with to
send bug reports.
