adusermon - is it necessary?

What is the purpose of adusermon, a program that seems to be running in the
background? How can I stop it from loading at boot?

Adusermon appears in the close programs window that opens when I do a
ctrl-alt-del. I assume it is adusermon.exe that is located in program
files\iomega\auto disk. Is auto disk the same as active disk? What is auto disk?

Thank you for not posting in ALL CAPS and swearing like a child.

[ ADUserMon.exe Part of Iomega's Active Disk - allows software applications
to be run directly from an Iomega Zip® disk. Required if you wish the
applications to launch on insertion of a disk ]

I found this info at this awesome website that you might want to
bookmark. It takes awhile to load the whole list of start ups.
