The automotive and telecommunications industries are infamous for ripping
off inventors. In my opinion Ford is the worst player in the auto industry
because their conduct is very egregious and goes all the way back to Henry
Ford. All the Bell offshoots are bad players.

As an American citizen, you are, hopefully, experiencing and understanding
the realities of a capitalistic society - everyone wants to make money,
since it is money that buys our happiness - if you are fortunate enough to
become a CEO or other similar high-level officer of a corporation, you will
smartly ensure your future wealth by making such lucrative transactions as
Stockman did, early in your career - if our society really cared for its
hardworking citizens, such as union workers, then we would be a socialist
society, thereby benefitting the majority of workers rather than the few
top-level individuals - unfortunately, this is not yet appreciated
