I'd like to invite everyone interested in wireless ISPs to consider
attending my final 2001
Wireless ISP Workshop on Friday, Sept. 7th in Irvine CA.
This year I've already presented this workshop in San Francisco, Wash
D.C., Tampa,
St. Louis, Dallas, and Seattle. The workshop is designed primarily for
ISPs who want
to add wireless service and for current WISPs who want to scale their
systems up.
My workshop is unique because it is vendor-independent,
technology-independent, and
based on "real-world" experience. I do have several equipment sponsors
who have
equipment exhibits in the next room and they do have a chance to do a
short
"commercial" for their company however, the body of my workshop has NO
hidden
advertising messages from any of the sponsors. I focus on helping you
understand how
wireless works, how to avoid problems, how to deploy your network
successfully, and
how to deliver profitable, reliable, wireless service. My workshop is
also unique because
of the interactive format. I want you to come prepared both to ask
questions and to
question any of the answers that you hear (or have heard elsewhere). We
also have
several networking breaks during the day to allow you to discuss your
experiences with
the other people there. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided. I
also encourage you
to attend the complimentary networking reception at the end of the day.
The location is the Irvine Marriott Hotel
(2 blocks from John Wayne/Orange County Airport and 6 miles from Newport
Beach
and Balboa Island)
18000 Von Karman Avenue
Irvine CA. 92612
Hotel phone is (949) 553-0100
