As a NAT it supports all protocols, and they throw in a firewall as a
freebie. What a deal!

The equipment connects on the one side to a Ethernet connection and doesn't
matter if it is a computer, server, router, cable/dsl router, etc.......

I have sygate working fine, and it does NOT require 2 nics with version 4,
although I am using it that way because of personal preference. The spare
computer wasn't an issue for me, as I had DirecPC and used this boxen for
routing DirecPC already.

All the theory and my readings say it should work, but it doesn't at all.
The only thing I can see that is a bit tricky with the ISP is that they
require the gateway IP to be plugged in while using DHCP. On the
Allied-Telesyn cable/dsl router, that cannot be done.
