I had asked about networking with this equipment using a cable/dsl router.
Well, the answer seems to be that it won't work. However, Sygate Version 4
does work and installs just as slick and easy as Sygate always has.

As a NAT it supports all protocols, and they throw in a firewall as a
freebie. What a deal!

Is this the PRO.11 FHSS 3Mbit gear?
If so, i have used the AP--->SA--->linksys dsl/cable router-----Network
many times.
Did you try it? Sygate works, but requires a PC and two nic cards.

Why do you say that the BreezeCOM equipment won't work?

The equipment connects on the one side to a Ethernet connection and doesn't
matter if it is a computer, server, router, cable/dsl router, etc.......

Yep, its the Pro.11 and is capable of 3Mbit.

I have sygate working fine, and it does NOT require 2 nics with version 4,
although I am using it that way because of personal preference. The spare
computer wasn't an issue for me, as I had DirecPC and used this boxen for
routing DirecPC already.

'cause it doesn't.... <G>

All the theory and my readings say it should work, but it doesn't at all.

The only thing I can see that is a bit tricky with the ISP is that they
require the gateway IP to be plugged in while using DHCP. On the
Allied-Telesyn cable/dsl router, that cannot be done.
