When was the last time you checked the links in this post?

Almost every one I clicked gave error 404 page not found.

I'm too lazy to edit, but airsnort should be replaced by
aircrack-ng on the main page.
http://aircrack-ng.org/

Nirsoft has various up-to-date portable wireless and net
utilities you could look into.
http://launcher.nirsoft.net/

Netscan from Softperfect is a nice little portable app
(windows only AFAIK), I have it on my pendrive.

Jeff's link to adapters
http://wikidevi.com/wiki/Category:Wireless_adapter
can be very useful.

Wireshark not mentioned ?
http://www.wireshark.org/

Hope this helps

Now you mention it, I haven't seen a personal post from John
in ages. He's probably been absorbed by FaceKook and forgot to delete
the crontab entry.
