I'm just added a Belkin F5D7130(54G)WAP to my LAN along with the matching
wireless network card for my notebook. The gateway to the net is via a
linksys router DHCP enabled (ip 192.168.2.100) The WAP's ip is
192.168.2.254. I can communicate with the WAP via my desk top thru the LAN.
Problem is that I get no signal on the laptop. When the WAP is set to
Channel 6 the SSID will show up on the laptop but other than that no other
form of communication between the wap and card. Should I be configureing my
laptop in anyway? it is set to obtain ip automaticly.
