can i use a pair of linksys wireless routers to connect my network to a
remote location so that i can share internet access?

or should I use linksys wireless access points (which are more expensive,
incidentally!!)

thanks!

It all depends what the distance is like - a router is probably more than
you need for your application.

Linksys make a wireless bridge - model WET11 - two of those in ad-hoc mode
will allow you to bridge your networks, provided the distance is not too
great. With additonal external antennas you can get 3 to 4 miles provided
you have direct line of sight between the antennas.

Not sure what the current price is - somewhere around $70 ea I think.

good luck!
