I have setup my Linksys WAP55AG to send a log to a IP 192.168.0.2. I
unstalled Linksys' Logviewer software on the addressed PC. The IP, DNS and
Gateway addresses are set correctly. (I can use that PC to use the webbased
admin tool to manage the WAP and to access the internet via a T1 connected
to the router.) However, I can't see any logs on the Logviewer application.
There are no instructions with the application and nothing in the Linksys
website FAQ pages regarding this application.

I will appreciate it if anyone has been successful in keeping an automated
log and would like to share as to how it should be done.

192.168.0.1 = router
192.168.0.2 = dedicated PC
192.168.0.100 thru 199 = reserved for DHCP server
192.168.0.246 = WAP 1
192.168.0.247 = WAP 2

Thank you very much.

Leroy

I don't know if this is important but the PC at 192.168.0.2 is running
WIN2000.
