Wireless bridge to switch does not work?

I need to setup a small wired network at the far end of a wireless
link which I want to also have connected to the internet.
To accomplish this I purchased the following equipment:
5-port switch:DLINK |5 PORT 10/100 DSS5+
Wireless Router: DLINK|DI-624
Wireless Bridge: D-LINK|DWL-G810
My setup is:
DSL modem -> Router -> space -> Bridge -> Switch
Then to the Switch I attach my devices. For testing purposes the
Router and the Switch are only a couple of feet apart, and the devices
attached to the Switch are computers.
When one computer is attached to the Switch all is well. When two
computers are attached the system breaks down, e.g. long timeouts on
the first computer, and the second computer does not even get DHCP
service.
Is there a problem with my configuration. I theorize there is a
problem with the Switch being behind the Bridge, but don't understand
why this would be.

were, as I recall, issues with early Linksys B bridges in this area
but I can't recall if it was 2+ computers that caused the problem or
more.
We have a couple Linksys G bridges and they work just fine attached to
a switch with at least 3 computers connected at the same time. I have
not tested with more but I have herd the unit supports up to 20.
You might want to try a different bridge to see if that fixes the
issue.

Somebody claimed that it is possible that this bridge might only have
room for one MAC address. Is this possible? This seems hard to
believe, but I can't find any documentation for it one way or the
other, but it would explain the symptoms.

I have a Linksys WET11 bridge hooked up to a D-Link 5 port switch and
it works fine. About a month ago, I tried to upgrade to 802.11g by
substituting a D-Link G810 bridge for the WET11 and I could never get
it to work (with similar symptoms to yours). I finally gave up,
returned the G810, and went back to using the WET11.
I suspect that the D-Link bridge only supports being connected to one
device (and therefore can't be connected to a switch). Try using a
Linksys bridge and see if you have better luck.

Is the WET11 connected wirelessly to another WET11, or to a Router /
Access point. I have a cluster of two PCs and a printer that i would
like to incorportate into my wireless lan connected to a Dlink DI 624
router? Is this possible?
