Hi,

i've got a problem with installing the driver on Win XP. When i start the
setup.exe from CD the installer starts and installs something. But there is
no folder under c:\programs and nothing in the start menu. So i can't see
the USB - Managment Software, where i can see the siganl strengh and the
link qualitay (and also the other values). Did anyone had this problem, too?
Or any solution?

Thanks for answers.

Marcel.

Marcel,

Did you try the driver from Netgear's website?

http://support1.netgear.com/netgear1/

I didn't have the problem you are having because I am using 2000 Pro, but it may
be worth a shot.

Maybe a re-boot is in order.

Hi,

thanks but now i've found another driver.
The german hotline and the german website doesn't know that problem! :-(

I am currently working through the same problem.

I am trying to put the MA101 on a PC that is already connected to a wired
network. I am thinking that maybe I can "bridge the wireless segment and
the wired segement together to allow my laptop to access both my wired net
and its broadband connection. I have gotten it to work briefly a couple
times but when I loose the connection or the laptop goes to sleep, then I
can't get the connection back.

If anyone knows how to make this work, I would appreciate any guidance.

Thanks
Dave Day
