The SearchKing lawsuit was definitely interesting at the time. But the
perception of buying and selling text links has changed dramatically.
(Just look at the adwords displayed when you search for "buying text
links").
SearchKing continues to broker text links through PR Ad Network. They
are one of the most established resources for buying and selling
relevant links.
One big misconception on the web is that you can buy PR.
PR is not for sale...Google assigns PR according to its algo. But
Google established its PR as the measure of quality for the web. And
because of that, the PR of a page is most often used to differentiate
the prices of text links from one page or another.
