Apologies if my question is too absurd.I am new here and require help. I want to categorize websites (URL) according to their content. For example :- I have few categories like Music, Puzzle, Technology. Now I want to gather and categorize website into these categories. If the content of the website does not match any of the above category then simply discard that url.

Live Example: We have websites like stumbleupon etc. Where there are many categories to choose from. Each category have many websites mapped in it.I want to do something like it.

Note : I do not have the list of URL's either. So the problem will be How to get the list of URL, and then categorize each URL accordingly.

I would like to implement it on Perl, but technology is not a Boundation.

Some browsers (including Thunderbird and Internet Explorer) have the ability to file URLs by categories.

Some also have the ability to attach many keywords to each URL they save, and therefore file some of the URLs in multiple categories.

Assigning URLs to categories this way is manual. Are you asking for it to be automatic instead?

I've found Google searches adequate for finding URLs, if I can think of suitable keywords to specify what type of URLs I want to find.

Boundation?
