Anyone else , since they dropped dialup July 2013 getting locked out of
email access with

"Fatal error: Function name must be a string in
/var/www/mailzone/lib/Horde/IMAP/Search.php on line 204 "

and just getting the run-around with so-called Onetel "support"

The webmail link hasn't worked for me tonight:

http://mailzone.onetel.net.uk/imp/redirect.php

but I'm able to pick up messages using a local mail client.

Are you still with Onetel as ISP in any shape Talktalk or whtever it
comes under these days, ie a local mail client within onetel servers?

Onetel dialup was once my regular ISP. I used Onetel (dialup) once or
twice over the last 5 years or so (e.g. during broadband outages) but
Onetel/Talktalk is no longer my ISP.
My Onetel email address still works for me. The webmail link above is
now working again and I can send and receive.

I still get the fatal error thing with that URL or going via onetel
frontpage. Same going through one proxy and get a time-out error via a
different proxy.
I've taken to sending large emails to my onetel email account so it
fills up and anyone still sending emails to it, gets a bounce message to
let them know it is in fact defunct

I received an email from them recently: "The credit card you use to pay
your Onetel account each month will expire at the end of this month"

Though I no longer use dialup (and so no longer pay them) I did try the
link they gave for updating the card details.
The note against my account reads:
"Your e-billing account is in the process of migration to TalkTalk
Business. To receive your next invoice by e-bill, please send an e-mail
including your Account number, name and e-mail address to
cust...@talktalkbusiness.co.uk"

I remember emailing them accordingly 2 years ago (after the page
displayed the same message) and they seemed to have no clue why I was
sending them my details.

I probably won't bother to try again to resolve this with Onetel this
time, but for as long as it lasts the mail address is handy.
