This thread on BT Care Community
https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/New-BTYahoo-Mail-and-forwarding/td-p/1478920
discusses the "new" BTYahoo Mail interface which appears to have
"hidden" the "mail options" page, where one can set up pop access and
mail forwarding.

I don't use the webmail interface except to change such things (I
forward ALL BTY mail to a third party provider), and when I checked my
own primary account I found that indeed on the horrible "new" Yahoo
interface, the option under the settings cogwheel for Mail Options had
indeed disappeared and there was no way of getting to the pop access and
mail forwarding page.

However, if I login to my BTYahoo mail, and THEN open a new web page at:
https://uk-mg42.mail.yahoo.com/neo/b/options
(designed for browsers with no javascript running) then I am greeted
(for the moment at any rate) with the OLD interface where the Mail
Options is available as it used to be.
I have to be already logged in to the mail a/c, or else you will get an
access denied page.

I've no idea whether it will work for everyone - there are several
different types of BTYahoo mail account ( I have at least three versions
depending on how old the email address is, all within BTYahoo) and they
do behave differently.

I don't have access to post on the Care Community as they banned me for
"repetitive privacy complaints" (because of repetitive privacy abuses by
BT) many years ago, and ban me repeatedly if I re-register. Perhaps
someone could post this info onto that thread
https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/New-BTYahoo-Mail-and-forwarding/td-p/1478920
to help those looking for a solution?

Many thanks.

Welcome 'back' Robert. It worked for me and I have posted your
observations with credit.

Many thanks.
Things don't improve at BT do they?

Incidentally - Phorm are still going, and have just announced they are
now moving into the USA (having left there in about 2006 or so under a
DPI/consent cloud just before the infamous BT trials)

Hoping the BT Care Community mods don't come knocking at your door for
aiding and abetting a subversive... I did send THEM a message about it
to but I don't think they read them.
