This new dial up access platform
is "Qued' to their normal dial-up access 01 number
Which basically means 01 connections get priority over 04 access
hense the server will 'drop' your connection if it needs to
accomodate more 01 access.
do NOT call the 50p a min line to complain to BT because under
ICTIS telephone watchdog legistation this number is classed as premium
rate and certain guidelines are in place.
1. most importantly is they cannot transfer your call once
answered.
This is important to remember because the first person you need to
speak to is a Team Senior , followed by a Team Leader if
your not happy with how your problem is being dealt with.
Please stay calm , and polite at all times, remember the first person
to answer your call will be a normal BT Agent . They know the
situation with the 04 access numbers and have been instructed by
management to advise us 'There is a server problem '
Do not be fogged off with 'We will take details and a senior' will
look into this, cause they will NOT !!.
Ensure your transfred to a Senior , or team leader or call centre
manager.
They have to by law have at least 1 team leader on call-duty , so
dont be fogged off with excuses of know-one is here to deal with it .

Yes, and then what ? We know the tactics - piss the heavy users off
so much that they give up and go away. Then take on yet more punters
to take the place of those that have gone. Of those, weed out the
heavy users, and the circle goes round again. In the end you have
lots of rich users who are happy to pay £15 a month for three hours a
week.
But where are the heavy users to go ?
Well, there's always broadband................. LOL !!!!
