Hey all.

What's up with demonoid.me ? Can't reach the site and it keeps
'redirecting'.

Anyone else having issues reaching demonoid?

Same here. The window header says 'Redirect', and the message at the bottom
just says 'Waiting for www.demonoid.me'. It doesn't connect, it doesn't
time out.

Looks like their tracker is out too.
Not a problem for those who use multiple trackers.

I'm sure it's just a glitch, and it will be back soon

Does anyone know of any good other alternative torrent sites for
movies?

I've tried to download the late 'melancholia' flick from isohunt, but
the bloody archive is password-
protected and the included info points you to dodgy spam sites.

http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/331181229/melancholia?tab=summary

I've looked on TPB as well, but it wasn't there yet.

Ah.. at least demonoid will probably be back soon:

"Replacing faulty hw, we'll be back shortly. Sorry for the
inconvenience"

They've always come back before, eventually. Remember when they got booted
out of Holland (I think it was) then tried Canada but got booted out of
there? Who knows where they are now?

I was getting that too and now the 'back soon' message.

But Demonoid has been "strange" for some weeks now.

- reduced file traffic in some areas (at least where I'm looking)
- disappearing files (not normal removals)
- different results for a narrow search depending when you do it
- frequent busy signals when searching
- even the search itself has seemed to vary as to whether it ANDs or
ORs the search terms.

They seem to have multiple servers and have difficulty or are tardy
keeping them in sync.
