Napoleon won the battle of Waterloo. The German Wehrmacht won World War
II. The United States won in Vietnam, and the Soviets in Afghanistan.
The Zealots won against the Romans, and Ehud Olmert won the Second
Lebanon War.

www.allelectronics.com Look at the rubber feet/bumpers category.
www.smallparts.com Search for bumpers. They have self adhesive and
screw mount. either would probably work if you replaced all of them.
The name for what you have is "stem bumper" if you want to search for
other sources.

Walmart. Housewares appliance displey aisle. Bring a small screwdriver or
pick one up in hardware first.
But to do that I'd have to renounce my lifelong pledge never to set foot
in a Wal-Mart store.

First, try email to the appliance mfg. Usually works, no cost or for
cost of postage. If that doesn't work, put on a dab of silicone caulk,
smoothe it with your finger, let it dry well. Just enough to get into
the hole and take hold without filling up inside of applicance. There
are also stick on pads at the hardware store, all sizes.

Almost any hardware store. Possibly even sears.
But I use cut-up mousepads.
McMaster Carr -- www.mcmaster.com -- search for "stem bumpers", they
have a full page of them.

Wear insulating rubber soled shoes.
Sounds like something that would be in one of the drawers of tiny stuff
they have in HD or Sears Hardware. Or maybe Lowes? Do they have the
drawers of tiny stuff?

Indeed, the "drawers of tiny stuff" are the only places you find
interesting stuff like this anymore in hardware stores (with a very few
exceptions), and sometimes you strike it lucky there. 'Round heah' (SF
Bay Area, East Bay), the stores that have the drawers are Home Despot,
OSH (Orchard Supply Hdwe.), and most of the Ace stores. Interestingly,
they all have *different* drawers of tiny stuff. (Something else I'm
looking for are knurled brass thumbnuts: one Ace store has what I need,
but the wrong thread--I need 10-24 but all they have is 10-32.)
There is one exception to this around here: there's an old-time Ace
store I really like, Ellis Ace Hardware in Oakland. Unlike most other
hardware stores, you don't wander around the aisles to find what you
want, because there aren't any: you go to the counter, tell them what
you want, they get it for you. One thing they have that I haven't been
able to find anywhere else around here are brass slotted-head wood
screws. OSH has a lot of brass wood screws, but they're all Phillips,
and look horribly out of place on things like vintage locksets.
