The May issue is tentatively titled "Horizons: New Mornings, Setting Suns, and
Ragged Borders." Submitted works should ideally have some connection to lived
dichotomy (night/day; love/hate, etc.), boundaries (and crossing them), or
individual/social enlightenment/awakening, but all works will be considered.
Deadline for May issue submissions is April 15, 2000.
In addition, submissions are also being accepted for the August 2000 issue
whose tentative themes (title pending) are social geographies; "my hometown;"
urban/rural analysis; and highway lives. August issue submissions must be
received by July 15, 2000. Submissions for future issues are always accepted.
Please note: As a nonprofit, self-produced journal, melange and its publisher
cannot offer monetary compensation to contributors at this time.
