Went to the RE again Friday was just there Wed. They did another u/s today
again RE did this one himself and more blood work (2 tubes). According to there
charts I'm 5 weeks/4 days from LMP. Went there not really even knowing why I
was back again so soon this was the 6th Beta they have run since 10 dpo. Anyway
go the new Doc I'll be moving too for a evalution. Well, they had one guy see
me first then the next thing you know after the history and
results that RE sent are gone over by him, they changed the Doc's and the new
one is the Director of the High Risk Dept. Apparrently this will me my personal
Doc, aren't I lucky....Yah....

Okay now the new Doc calls my RE for todays beta numbers. (I am trying to make
this short I swear).... New Doc tells me that with a beta of 3600+on Wed. they
should have send a heart beat on the u/s this morning so he wanted to make sure
the numbers were still going up. And they were more than doubled again over
7000. So he insists on doing another u/s with his high tech shit. Okay I'll do
it. Well he still see's no heart beat...... Now remember we
have that little blurb on u/s left of cervix that no one is sure about yet
could be fiborid or who knows. So here are the scenerios that he tells me there
are:

1) There has to be another for the numbers to be that high without a heartbeat
yet and we just can't see it. Maybe the little blurb. The little blurb could be
a 2nd, but wouldn't account for the high beta alone because it's just too small
to be producing that much extra beta; so maybe there's a 3rd emybro that was
just late in implanting also and we just can't see them yet and well know this
next week.

2) The sac in the uterus is not viable any longer, but an eptopic could be
going on and is and we we'll have none.

3) The sac in the uterus is viable and a late implant and there is still an
eptopic and we will possiblly lose the one in the uterus, but maybe not.

Nice set of choice. Do you pick door number 1, 2, or 3. I'm pretty sure that's
all of the scenerio's, but who knows he was just throwing things at me before I
could digest much of it. As you can tell, I'm pretty bummed out right now and
DH is not here to vent on. He went for a fishing trip with a bunch of the
Family and Freinds that the RE said I couldn't go on because of the spotting
(which stopped finally last weekend). They'll be back Sunday
night. But to top off a perfect day... 3 weeks ago I dropped a cast iron
skillet onthe top of my right foot and I thought it was broke than, but after
about a week I was finally able to walk on it again so I figured it was okay
after all. WRONG. After leaving the Doc's I got out of my Van and stepped on
the left front part of the foot putting the bulk of my weight on that section
and I screamed in pain. Now the stupid thing is shotting pains and
swollen and I can't step on it at all. I'll bet it was factured and I just
reinjured it. I'll probablly have to go to another quack tommorrow
again........

Thanks for listening, I'm feeling a little better now.... EXCEPT for
FOOT....LOL

Hi Kath,
According to a calculator I found on the web, I'm also due on 1/23/99 which
also happens to be my birthday. I too am bummed out though, because I will be
having an ultrasound done this Wednesday to rule out an ectopic pg. I only have one
open tube which is not in the best of shapes. I got pg on the first cycle after my
Lap. in April. I was waiting to start Clomid again. I even filled my prescription
before AF arrived I was so sure it didn't work. Part of me thinks it would be too
good to be true if the pg happens to be in the right place.
Just wanting to wish you good luck!
Lynn
Hopefully due on 1/23/99

Kath,

I just wanted to wish you luck this week. I was 6 weeks before they could
detect a heartbeat so I'm hoping this is the week for you.

Best Wishes,
Bekki
