Has anyone spotted very lightly and still got a positive test?? One
that went on to be a viable pg? I spotted with just a touch of red
blood after using the restroom on 10dpo and have had a tinge of color on
the paper here and there and now I have a bit of color on my underwear.
My temps are still high and going up as of 12dpo, I have a beta in the
morning, I just would love to here any good stories relating to
spotting.

Thanks

Julie

My cousin spotted with *both* of her successful pregnancies. She had
previously had 3 mis. and was frantic when it happened and didn't think she was
pregnant. She said it seemed to happen right after her and her dh had sex.

There is hope!

Julie --

I spotted at 12 dpo -- very similar to what I'd usually get 1-2 days before AF
arrived. As a matter of fact, I had an HPT in hand when I went to the ladies
room and saw the brownish-pinkish staining. Figured that there was now
absolutely no way I could actually be PG. But I was wrong! Later on, my RE
told me that the spotting was simply the result of implantation spotting --
when the blastocyte attaches itself into the uterus, sometimes there's a bit of
spotting involved. With me, it lasted about 2-3 days -- and went away. I'm
now at exactly 9 weeks today!

Well, I had a beta pulled today and it is only at 5 (13dpo) so I guess
my body is just completely defective, this is the second month in a row
that this has happened. I am terrified it is a problem I can't fix. I
know we can work around the PCO, but now I don't know what my body is
doing. I hate it.

Hi Julie,

I had spotting and severe menstrual cramps the night before my test. It
seemed just like the usually AF.

I am now 14+wks.

GOOD LUCK!!

I was on clomid for 6 months than went to pergonal. I finally got pregnant and
than started bleeding(heavier than spotting) from 8 weeks until about 13 weeks.
I went through all the emotions of am I going to lose the baby or not!!! It was
horrible, but come to find out that its not unusual to spot during pregnancy.
So i now have a daughter named Hannah born on 12-11-97!!! Hang in there!!!!

Hearing this is a great comfort to me. I am now 9 weeks pg and have been
spotting/bleeding off and on (mostly ON) for several weeks now. My HCG and
progesterone numbers seem okay and we saw heartbeats (twins) on the first US,
but all this bleeding is really worrisome. My RE prescribes bedrest when the
bleeding is heavy and resting as much as possible when it's lighter. BUT I'm
not supposed to get any aerobic exercise of any kind. I'm curious if this is
what your doc prescribed for you too? All this inactivity is driving me CRAZY
(not to mention turning my thighs to total flab)!!
