Greetings,

I am a counseling psychology researcher at the University of Florida
in Gainesville, FL. I am
seeking women to complete an anonymous web-based survey focusing on
the experience of
weight-based discrimination and aspects of mental health. For the
purposes of the study, I am
recruiting women with larger body sizes. However the only requirements
for participating in the
study are to be a woman and to be over the age of 18.

If you choose to participate in this study, you will be asked to
complete an online survey about
your experience of weight-based discrimination, your current mental
health, and to provide
demographic information describing you.

The study should take approximately 20 – 30 minutes. Your answers will
be kept completely
anonymous. There are no known risks and you can withdraw at any time
without penalty. You
will not be asked to provide your name on the inventory. Demographic
information gathered
from the survey will be used simply to describe the group of
individuals who completed the
survey and your email address and other personal information will not
be linked to your
responses in anyway.

We thank you in advance for participating.

Thank you,

Taylor K. Locker, M.S
