Last-days pro-Zionist televangelist Pat Robertson has endorsed George
Bush Jr's choice of Harriet Miers for a Supreme Court seat. The
fundamentalist madman made the announcement on his tax-exempt 700 Club
show, which mixes political commentary with on-air faith healing,
glossolalia and high-pressure fund-raising.

Robertson's announcement came in an interview with Jay Sekulow, the
Jewish "converso" lawyer and neocon who makes a living representing
various Christian Zionist standard-bearers in court. Raved Robertson
"...I applaud the President. I think on this one, so far, every single
pick of the President of judicial nominees has been superb. Every
single one. And I think he deserves our trust on this one. He knows
this woman. He promised the American electorate, if you elect me, I'm
going to put in strict constructionist judges, and he's going to
fulfill that vow to the American people. And this pick is in keeping
with that vow." Sekulow is a former employee of Homeland Security czar
Michael Chertoff.

Robertson was recently in the news for demanding the assassination of
Venezuela's democratically elected President Hugo Chavez. Chavez, who
has been the target of at least one CIA coup, was understandably
upset, not least because Robertson has a large, emotionally-unbalanced
Latin American flock. Robertson also angered UFO and science fiction
fans for apparently advocating that they be stoned to death in keeping
with Bronze Age Jewish norms.
