Bingo! I guess you have admitted, this fact is beyond your comprehension.

Yes it does - That they are intelligent enough to admit when they made a
mistake!
Coward?
You fucking punk, I served my country. Just because you want to hide behind
momma's apron strings, doesn't mean everyone is like you.
I'd love to piss down your throat b/4 I ripped it from your neck.
How's that for truth?

Spoken like a true coward! I know people still IN the military who think
Bush is an asshole with no regard for the troops. Especially the ones
who've already been to Iraq. How many tours did you pull over there?
1. Bush DID LIE.
2. They did NOT get their information from the same source.
We know the truth that Bush LIED and our soldiers DIED.

yeah, the bush admin.
and yeah, after more than a year of bush faking pres (if not only those years of bush
in tx), you'd think people would know better.

The same source. You mean Bush. Correct?
It is enlightening to read Bush's UN speech of September 12, 2002 at:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2002/09/20020912-1.html
And also Powell's "Meet The Press" admission of his WMD speech at the UN :
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4992558
when Powell referred to the intelligence as "deliberately misleading."
Representative Dingell of Michigan stated on "The Charlie Rose Show" that
Bush refused to show Dingell the intelligence reports he was using to
justify the approaching Iraqi March invasion. Dingell had the appropriate
security clearance to see the intelligence, but Bush wouldn't allow it. It
was during the same interview with Rose that Dingell labeled the Bush
Administration "...the worst since Caligula."
And if you think that because Democrats voted for the war as well, just
remember that Bush, the Republicans, and Democrats were wrong.
It is childish to point fingers and say "They did it too." They were ALL
wrong! And it's because Bush lied.

Clearly anyone who voted for this war or supported it should be thrown out
of office.
No reason to reward failure -- there are plenty of people who knew it was a
giant mistake to go in there.

No one voted to go to war. There was no vote on whether or not to go to
war. That was bushes decision and his alone.
and no, they didn't all get their info from the same source, although that
is a popular neo-con talking point.
> Now that you know the truth does this mean that you will support the troops

Bringing the troops home IS supporting them. Of course neo-cons like you
prefer to see lots of dead Americans. YThere is nothing you love more then
o see someone else die so you can strut around spouting your right wing
bullshit.
> You sound very liberal......this must be your answer to the world <G>
and you sound like a 14 year old idiot.....
Of course you won't support telling the truth or not lying. Your a repug,
you like lies and liars. Our nation was lied to by the fake president.
Thats a fact. People believed him as he lied. Thats a fact. Most of us
are disgusted with the presidents lies. Thats a fact.
Your a coward and thats a fact and thats why you support him. You won't
serve of course.
As for cut and run, the president never said that according to his press
office.
Come on, chicken hawk, tell us were you served? Were you in the valiant
fight at the 7/11? Or were you the last man standing on Ass Bite Ridge?
See, coward, you and your gutless president never, ever served your country.
Your a chicken hawk, proud to wave a flag and cheer but your not gonna put
up your tax money for our troops. The troops want more money, health care,
diginity? No way.
Ones that were lied to....oh, we aren't supposed to mention that.

Some people are too dumb to engage in debate. Are you one such person.
The resolution says; "
"SECTION 3: (a) AUTHORIZATION
(1) defend the national security of the United States against the
continuing threat posed by Iraq"
Was Iraq a threat to the US? No.
" (b) PRESIDENTIAL determination.
(1) reliance by the United States on further diplomatic or other
peaceful means alone either (A) will not adequately protect the national
security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by
Iraq or (B) is not likely to lead to enforcement of all relevant United
Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq"
UN inspectors were in Iraq, doing their job - and in fact proving that
Bush had lied about WMD. What did Bush do? He went to war.
The person who violated the Use of Force Resolution was Bush. The fact
that you don't know that is appalling.
In his letter to Congress informing them that hostilities had begun Bush
listed 911 and WMD. Both were known lies.
Defend lies if you must but don't drag others into your sewer.
After the UN inspectors proved to us there were NO WMD and after the CIA
said that even if there were WMD Saddam wouldn't use them against us,
there was no logical, reasonable or justifiable reason to support war.
But there was idiocy...the same idiocy that's on display in this post.

I disagree. There were a lot of people who thought Saddam had WMD or was
developing them. But those opinions weren't sufficient to start a war.
In my world, I forgive the 'use of force' authorization but after that
the US helped the UN put inspectors back in Iraq and those inspectors
said Saddam didn't have any WMD. Bush went to war anyway.
The CIA also told us that even if Saddam did have WMD he wouldn't use
them against us (he didn't use them against us in 1991 when we invaded
him the first time) so clearly he was never a threat to our national
security. This fact was well known by everyone in the media, the
congress and of course by the American people but most still supported
the war. Obviously the country was insane.
Anyone who supported the war AFTER we invaded and AFTER our people
verified there were no WMD is unfit for elected office.
The congress was notified that Bush was about to begin hostilities;
claiming Iraq did 911 and they had WMD and the Congress did nothing to
stop him. They were clearly incompetent...as incompetent as Bush but
you have to remember the time.
The media has spent months beating the drums of war - pushing lies as
fast as the Bush White House could manufacture them. It would have been
political suicide to vote against the war but 156 members of congress
did just that.
Their names are on the index page of my website. Did anyone in the
media want to know why they voted against the use of force resolution?
Do they care now?
If you watch Meet the Press, Tim Russert will never have someone on his
show who voted against the war. His job is to ask pro war Democrats if
they regret their vote. In other words, he sees his job as one of
pushing the pro war idiocy or asking Dems why they were pro war. Never
seeing or reporting reality - the 156 who voted against Bush and against
his war.

Nope. Throw them all out. There isn't any shortage of people who could
serve in the Government who knew it was bogus from the start. I see no
reason to give any of these people a second chance -- its not like they
broke a plate in the kitchen by accident. They showed flawed judgment
that has cost this country greatly, not to mention all the dead Iraqis.
I'm so close to where you are...in fact that's where I once was. The
problem is the intelligence reports. They voted for war without even
reading them. When we listen to them whine about Bush, they say they had
briefings, but didn't read the reports. I suppose they had fund raisers
to get to so they didn't have enough time to do their jobs.
