The American right wing's hatred of the MoveOn stems from the same source as
their hatred of Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Barack Obama, Amnesty
International, the ACLU, science, the university, the press and - while Bush
is in office - the Constitution itself. They despise anything that
represents the slightest restraint on the Republican authoritarian power to
silence, imprison, torture, kill, steal, bribe, invade and lie about it all.
They are vicious, anti-intellectual fascist thugs who are, sooner or later,
going to have to be dealt with on their own terms.
I am glad, though, that Bush admits he is a fascist, and one to the right of
Hitler. We will be quoting you, pal.

Adolph Hitler wasn't "right" or "left." He was somewhat demented and
entirely a dictator, just as Joseph Stalin was somewhat demented and
entirely a dictator.

Bush is somewhat demented and would be entirely a dictator if he thought he
could get away with doing so. Cheney is and has been goading him in this
direction.

Bush has no political ideology. He is a stupid slug backed by people who
wanted to make great sums of money through virtually unlimited government
spending. Bush is doing just what they wanted.

Sometimes things need to be called what they are.
