I'm not a doctor ,let this be clear ...

I must ask you, the professionals, what do you think of this case: I saw a
drunk person lying on the floor near a closed bar. That person was also
bleeding from his nose and his head (above the eyebrows). It was obvious he
was drunk as hell ... Anyway, no one helped him .When i saw this (i heard he
was lying there for like 30 minutes) ,i became angry and helped this person.
I also went to another bar and said to their staff if they could call an
ambulance. Why not the police? Because as far as i can understand, he
could've not been so drunk...he could've been "woozy" because he could have
had a concussion or something similar. Anyway, the medic on the phone said
its not his problem and that we should contact the people who hi was
drinking with, so they could take him home. I mean, WHAT KIND OF A
SUGGESTION IS THAT?! By that doctor's logic this person should be putt "in
care" with other drunks and possibly get killed in a car accident. Also he
ADDED: "these kind of people are like... like they landed from the moon on
earth and don't have a clue. they probably don't have any family etc ...
it's not my problem, i won't come down there for this" .Which he's wrong,
because that person had a big house and everything (i've seen him a few
times and I know where he lives. but i don't know him well anyway...).I
mean, this person could have had a brain trauma or suffer internal
injuries...how can you make a diagnosis based on a phone-call ?!

What kind of punishment could this doctor suffer if this would happen and
would be reported in Your country? I am OUTRAGED ... such utter disregard
for human beings disgust me. But if a doctor ,who should know more than
anybody else what value has a human life/health ... It's beyond belief

Excuse this message but this is the only medical newsnet server "alive" ...
I just want to know.

Have a nice day.

You're in Slovenia right?

That would be unacceptable conduct in the UK for sure.
