The cold virus is a mild form in comparison to a flu, that does the same effects much less and for not as long, that the flu does do, which are fever and nervous system attacks that are brought on by such things as rapid temperature change going from indoor to out door that in essence can weaken your nerves for temporal sock and too many shocks with other things like germs and bacteria can really bring it on chills and cold sweats fevers for few days average. Flu lasts week or more and is extremely more intense, it is also in nature airborne where a cold transfers from contact things, and germs. Flu also can carry much more painful infections with it, like an ear infection and strep throat, which are extremely crippling to children. In ability to swallow with out extreme pain as if you got your throat stuck to an ice pole by licking it and it is a dry rub more like dry ice but not hot, say wood, is what it got stuck too, dry out but the pain of an ice pole every swallow.
