Yes, any art school teaching figure drawing, anatomy, shading. Call up
an art school, junior college, university, or you can find artists who
teach privately. Some art schools specialize in more modern styles,
however. You may feel out of place there.

Actually what I am thinking of is classical realism in the sense of
renaissance and Dutch Masters painting techniques, to learn the painting
methods of Vermeer, Rembrandt, Titian, Raphael, Velasquez, and such. Learn
the underpainting methods, glazing, chiaroscuro, and such as they did.
www.artrenewal.org has links to many such ateliers. I am sure you
would find a suitable one.
You can find these all over. you can try putting a notice in
www.craigslist.org for a private teacher. you can enroll at a community
college or university near you. You can call one of the teachers at
either of these types of institutions and see if they will teach you
privately. you can teach yourself a lot by getting books on anatomy for
artists, on shading, color theory, composition, and design.
For realism try a book by Clem Robins called The Art of Figure
Drawing. Another one with a lot of good tips is The Encyclopedia of Art
Techniques, edited by Tessa Clark.
