Hello,

I am a comedy writer looking for an illustrator and partner to create a
portfolio of single-panel humorous cartoons.

The right person will be someone who enjoys to draw and can draw using
a unique, funny, recognizable drawing style. They will also be someone
that I can collaborate with easily and who appreciates my humor, which
is quirky, silly, a bit edgy ... similar to Far Side cartoons in some
ways.

Please respond if you are interested!

My style is surreal, but if the requestor is in need of more
conventional art, I can try to draw something more acceptable.

I bought a Magna computer program for scanning in image story boards
for text overlaying and wanted do do some real work.

My style of humor is like Jay Leno's not the other guy.

I could do a single panel trial and you could time me, and then see how
it compares to other drawers?

Thanks Doug

I can write humor, but have never done it for real.

I use vernacular style language though. And so the "Farside" genre is
acceptable. "Non sequitar" style high language is not my style.

A humorist must cause the laugh and right now I simply wanted to try to
get to do a trial illustration.

Sorry Doug, not you. I meant the original poster.
