This is why I would vote for the newsgroup as well. Every time someone
tries to unravel a mason conspiracy, they go shooting off how benign
they are and how many sick children they sacrifice - uh, I mean help.

We don't believe you! Either you're just a stooge and not yet into the
_real_ circle of power in masonry or you're lying to protect the
hideous world domination you people hold...

WHEEEEE! Isn't this fun! From what I've seen of your "unraveling", one
of three things is really going on:

1) You're thoroughly convinced that Masons are the cause of the eventual
unraveling of democracy (or any of a myriad other ills). Most of the
time, I give you more credit than to actually believe this.

2) You're satiring those who believe in conspiracy and the Illuminati by
pointing to something as innocuous as Masonry. Your tone suggests this
isn't the case, but I'll admit this as a possibility.

3) You're trolling newbie and not-so-newbie Masons. Since #1 indicates a
serious deficiency in logic & #2 a serious deficiency in wit, I'll go w/
this possibility.

So, then, why bother? I think you've managed to flesh out those of us
(myself included at one time) too naive to realize you've been trolling-
what are you going to do w/ us? How long are you going to continue this
game? Will you tire of it, or are you hoping that something will happen
to all those you've trolled?

One last question: If you do fit in catagories 2 or 3, when & where will
you be honest w/ us about your thoughts on Masonry? As annoying as
sugar-coating may be, disingenuous ranting about the organization is far
more irritating to anyone wishing to hold an honest discussion on the topic.

Oh, all right, I'll play along: The Mason-droid you encountered is a
stooge. He has been rewarded for his efforts, and has been sent to our
initiation center in Sioux City, IA for instruction on the devious ploys
we shall soon launch on the world.

But ask me no questions. I shall soon be entering the Federal Witness
Protection Program, and will be incommunicado. This, of course, is a
futile act on my part, but it might buy me a couple more years of life
before the inevitable. [ROTFL]

I giggled when I read this and thought that this deserves a serious reply,
so here I am minus sarcasm, satire and a glass of diet Dr. Pepper...

I'm never tired of it. What I wonder is if newbie masons have a file that they
created in the hopes someone attacks them. You get four or five page posts
on the benevolence of masons and their contributions to society (which are
real) all backed up by references and personal experiences.

However, this is alt.illuminati. For goodness sakes, it isn't even the more
serious alt.conspiracy (giggle) which I do not subscribe to. Those who
enter here do so at their own risk. _Every_ organization, real or imagined,
will be attacked and berated in the name of finding the "real" power
which controls us all... :)

A good reason for starting alt.freemasonry.we.are.not.monsters. Want serious?
Join me on alt.religion.mormon. Here I come to relax...
