Paul's sober advice is good common sense. Practicing Psychology/Medicine
(Psychiatry) without a license in New York (and California, etc.) is
ILLEGAL (serious pain). Lay-Hypnotist schools make BIG bucks turning out
so-called "hypno-therapists" and have the commercial right to TEACH it.
The BIG question is ... do you have a right to USE it in your state?
Division 30 of the APA monitors this newsgroup for potential violators
and some of the BIG mouths will soon be shut. Hobson's Chose: Move to a
state that is currently wide-open and you may have several years of
freedom before licensing forces you to move to another state OR simply
get licensed (M.F.C.C., etc.) Reality Check: The days of the
lay-hypnotist are numbered. When the public can have their private
insurance pay 100 percent of the office fee (MediCare 80 percent) for
hypnotherapy, you can be assured that insurance companies will not cut
checks for NON-LICENSED providers. When the HAMMER comes down ... the
point will be nailed. If you call yourself a Motivational Coach, etc.
.. the point is mute. (The Laws View): Hypnotherapy is getting inside
the public's head, coaching is not (see Tony Robbins). Ref: Erickson

Every time he posts on of his insane diatribes, he confirms to the world
that he is infantile and anally driven.

He must have very strong masochistic impulses to post his useless dribble,
then being abused and rejected by everyone, just to come back for more of
the same; week after week, month after month and even year after year.

If this is what military training does to you than no wonder half the world
is f****
up.

Kind Regards John

It also depends on what you call it. If you become an ordained minister and call
it spiritual healing, then that's that (and tax free to boot!)
