I have a mobile home furnace, Model AGC-80, which says it was made by
Home-Siegler Division, Lear Siegler, Inc.

It has begun to run a really long time before shutting off. The time
between the thermostat "clicking on" and the blower beginning to run is
still the same as it has been all along. The blower just runs a really long
time. Does anyone have an idea as to what is wrong? Is there any way to
buy parts for it anywhere?

It was manufactured in about 1974, has been cleaned by professionals several
times, filter is changed regularly, and has had the thermocouple replaced 3
times. Other than that part, it has never needed any repairs. I am not
able to replace it at this time, and the person who cleaned it for me before
has retired and moved away.

Can anyone help me?

Diane

Diane,

I have alot Siegler commercial equipment in use today I didn't now they were into
residential manufactured housing never saw any. I would suspect your fan/limit
switch is sticking if it's a 1974 I believe it will be the type that inserts into
the firebox and it probably needs replacing. But not seeing it form here I'm only
assuming if this is the cause sometimes just cleaning the rust and scale of the
inside bimetal coil might give it life again.

Parts for the Lear Siegler trailer furnaces are available from the
local Nordyne-Miller distributor.I think there must have been a
buyout, because we often see the same unit with the Miller name on it.
