Because you haven't learned the "secret handshake"
> Do any of you have any idea what size unit this is??
Yes.

Suggest get a tech out, have him take pressure /temperature and compressor
rla readings.

Well, it's obvious that the "BM" at the start of the
model number stands for bowel movement.
Other than that, I guess you're shit outta luck.
Thanks.

I tried to get a little on the side, but I couldn't find the hole.
Good luck.
Good luck from Dido

I'm thinking that you need to call a *competent*, local, insured,
professionally trained, HVAC technician(not a wannabe, or Billy-Joe-Jim-Bob)
to do a complete heat loss/load, and duct sizing calculations to correctly
size your new system. I would hope that your not going to go back with
Comfortmaker... In my experience with them, the ones that weren't bad
and/or/leaky out of the box, leaked like a sieve after just a couple of
years. They are very good for business. I love changing those leaky evap
coils at $800 a pop.
I bet that the existing system was installed by the lowest bidder, and you
got waht you paid for.
With the cost of the new federaly mandated 13+ SEER equipment, it would pay
you to get it done right this time.
See page 81.

I looked at Consumer reports and as far as repair records Goodman was
at the bottom of the list and Trane was #2.
Consumer Reports is in itself, garbage.
Due to the fact that HVAC units in some states can be installed by any John,
Dick or Harry, and in others, must be installed and worked on by licenced
techs, you can not go by their reports for the most part on the
units....period.
Goodman, is bottom barrel feeder junk no matter how you look at it.
Installed correctly, it will do its job....as will any unit. How fast it
breaks, is another matter.
Everyone of us in here have our favorite units...either to install, or
repair.
I love Trane units..when they break, the profit margin is huge compared to
others...
