Your local bank should be able to help you with this--with the added
benefit that they won't screw you for an extra couple thousand
dollars.

If you want details feel free to contact me--I'm not selling anything,
just giving away free information to those who are interested.

Check out authorizenet.com (this is what one of my clients uses ) it is pretty
good...

Also a good company that can help you out is chargesolutions.com they are
geared towards adult sites but i am sure their services will work with any
website.. if you have a website where you charge a membership fee to view
website content then this is the way to go..

That is my two cents worth

Hope it helps

Check out www.visaguy.com

We have terminals starting at $9.95 per month. You will find our rates very
competitive as well. Company is called Beneficial Merchant Services (BMS)

If I may, I would like to list things we do that other won't or can't.

1. We are a registered MSP/ISO. That means we meet standards set by
Visa/MasterCard and pay them fees each year. Most companies are sales
organization of registered MSP/ISO like BMS. Bottom line for merchant-You're
dealing with a registered member not a sales reps.

2. BMS is the only credit card processor that will get you out of your lease
should you decide to terminal services. Following is the policy as it appear
on our site.

Guarantee Satisfaction Policy: Should you decide terminate service for ANY
REASON! Beneficial Merchant Service will find someone to assume your lease
within 30 days or we will pay monthly lease payment! You pay $100 lease
assumption fee. Cash purchases refunded minus 24 month lease payment amount
per months used.

3. BMS is the only processor that list its' merchants on their site. The
list is far from complete but 100's of merchants that you can contact if you
want references.

4. We do our own customer service 24hrs a day. If you ever need customer
service you call us. It the same person that sign you up. You will know us
by first name. The phones are answered-NO VOICE MAIL!

5. We offer all type of terminals. However, BMS specializes in wireless
terminals. We are the only credit card company that operates it's own
BellSouth tower. Each month we fly in at our expense a BellSouth mini tower
for a group of merchants in Canton, TX. Allowing them to process their
transactions wirelessly. Canton hosts a large trade show each month and
BellSouth did not have coverage for that city. Even though other companies
now sell wireless terminals used at that event, none have offered to share
the expense of providing coverage.

Keep in mind when selecting a credit card company, great service from people
you know is far more important than just finding the cheapest price.

Good Luck
