JOB TITLE: JAVA DEVELOPER

Job Description :

Define, maintain, and support Java development environment and best practices, such as Maven, Sonar, and other Open-Source tools.
Assist in identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production and nonproduction environment and perform troubleshooting.
Quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications and will work with the team to deliver best in class solutions.
Update the current restful api or application code to support new functionality or fix the production problem
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing using Open-Source frameworks.
Evaluate and recommend technology and frameworks for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to market
Required Qualifications/Experience:
8+ years of development experience (currently hands on) in Java, Spring MVC / Spring Core / Spring Boot/ Web Services (SOAP/REST) and configuring web containers
5+ years of development experience in JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, Jquery, Backbone, Angular, NodeJS, Jasmine, Protractor, JavaScript/TypeScript, NPM
A demonstrable understanding of the Agile software development methodology
Appreciation for and alignment to standard methodologies regarding object-oriented design, coding standards, RESTful service consumption and integration, common design patterns, secure application development, and test coverage
Tools Required:
IDE’s Spring Tool Suite, and Eclipse, within a UNIX and Windows environment.
Experience with tools like: GIT, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, JIRA, Artifactory, Dynatrace, Sonar.
