Hello,

I'm a marketing guy (not a web developer) for a technology company and have
a
question on web etiquette. Our company has purchased an abundance of
advertising
the list our main company's URL for the products offered by a very specific
division
(that has it's on URL). Our feedback from clients is that they did not know
to click
the link to the division's URL (although it is listed on the index page).
Admittedly,
the clients from of this division are not at all technical.

Opening the division's URL automatically would not be advisable as most of
our clients
purchase from the other 3 divisions. We thought about popping up a second
widow that
states something to the effect, "If you saw the ad regarding ....., then
please view ....".
Without have a porno-site approach of popping up multiple console, what is
the most
preferred method of encouraging our wayward visitors on to the correct
division's URL.
Also, I am under the gun to make this work (tonight) as we are loosing
revenue by the
minute. Any assistance and or coding examples would be much appreciated.

Also, please copy your responses to my email address.

THANKS!
JRM

Check out http://www.adobe.com. In the lower right hand corner is a
couple of animated braces ([]) the evoke curiosity and are not obnoxious
or intrusive.

Check out http://www.racingw.com/
It has one small popup to give visitors a brief site navigation tip.
