Hello everyone,
I need your opinion on my site!
http://www.geocities.com/montreal_ottawa/
I am new to "site building". Everything seems fine to me, but I'm sure you
can find mistakes; I would appreciate all your comments to improve it.
Also, I tried to add some Java Applets to my page by adding all the files to
my "Index" page and all I get is a grey square with nothing in it...
Thanks in advance for all your comments!

One. I have to RONTFLMAO, as Netscape 4.79 is the only one that works
compare to IE 5.5 and Opera 6 that do not.

Two. Validate your code at http://validator.w3.org/

Three. Need alt tags.

Four. Need to center the lower part of the site. Do it where you have:
We guarantee your satisfaction!

Five. Do not underline Items that are not links, as people will think
they are in the first place.

Six. This needs to be better center: A gift to be cherish that will be
remembered: What could be more beautiful to give or to receive then an
original oil painting, hand painted on canvas.

Seven. Same with your form.

Eight. Put your outside the box Javascript into the head.

Nine. You need to fix this. backgrounds etc... for "normal" paintings,
the prices are as follow:

8 X 10 inches 20 X 25 cm
U.S.$ 55.00 12 X 16 30 X
40 80.00 16 X
20 40 X 50 105.00
20 X
24 50 X
60 130.00 24 X 36
60 X
90 180.00 30 X
40 76 X 102 238.00
36 X
48 90 X
120 380.00 48 X 60
120 X
150 510.00 48 X
72 120 X 180 750.00

Ten. Come back when you finish these errors and well look at it again.

It crashed NN 6.2 in mid load. I did get as far as some grey boxes
though. They were pretty neat. Rectangular. Grey.

Thank you for your Critiques! on http://www.geocities.com/montreal_ottawa/
I have more questions...
In "One" You say: I have to RONTFLMAO ...??? What is the meening of that?...
are you saying that the site doesn't work in IE and Opera?
In "Two"... I will make the corrections.
In "Three"... I will add the tags.
In "Four"... Done that.
In "Five"... Done some and will review the rest and will correct it.
In "Six"... I will center the text.( I am new at this and slow ;-) )
In "Seven"... My form is centered in my browser ( IE 6.0 ) if you view the
source code, you can see the "Center" tag. If I need to make a correction,
how do I do it?
In "Eight"... I will try that. (After I finish making all my corrections ;-)
In "Nine"... What background? Don't I have a neet little window with all
numbers well aligned?
In"Ten"... I want to thank you for taking the time to look at my site and
your good "Critiques".

One. Bottom post response.

Two. Yes, your site will not work with any *NEW* browsers of all things;
especially IE, since your wrote for it in the first place.

Three. I see center, but that's not how it is showing up on the page.

Four. As to my nine, your tables or form is all over the place. No it is
not in a neet window. That is why you need to validate your pages code.

Five. Read up on the standards at http://www.w3c.org, since they set the
standards in the first place.

Six. As to RONTFLMAO it is Roll ON The Floor Laughing My Ass Off because
the site fail in IE of all browsers and yet work in NS 4.79.

Seven. Write your site so it can be seen in *ALL* browsers not just IE.
There is 17 browsers out there.

Understand that "RONTFLMAO" is not meant as a knock on you personally, I'm
sure. It is funny because 99% of "browser problems" (really code problems)
seem to be caused by old Netscape quirks, while new browsers seem to work
fine. Yours is just about the few that works on old junk, but not on new,
"compliant" browsers.
I just thought you might have wondered if that was an offensive comment; I
think it was just an ironic observation.
Good luck with your site.
