Didnt know what to expect from this as it starred daniel radcliffe - i
was expecting some kind of comedy.
as it's by alexandre aja - of haute tension etc fame though i gave it
the benefit of the doubt.

it's certainly one of the most bizarre films i've seen in a long time.

radcliffe is a dj who is a pariah in his community - as everyone thinks
he murdered his girlfriend who he argued with the evening before her death.
he awakes one morning to find he is sprouting horns and also that most
people can't help but tell the truth to him when he asks them what they
know about the murder.

he uses these skills to push forward his investigation.

surprisingly nasty in parts, full of foul language but far less gore
than previous aja films (not that the story needs it), i really liked
this a lot.
censored in the uk for a lower rating so be sure to see another version.
far better than i expected - and it really is very strange in parts.

Some here didn't like it, but I thought it was okay. The novel was
written by Stephen King's son. I haven't read it, but his comic, "Locke
and Key" was great. And the girl was just smashing.

I liked the book. Haven't seen the movie yet.

You must have very conservative taste in films.

Really? I didn't see anything nasty in it. Maybe I saw a censored version
- what did I miss?

I watched it last week and thought it was ok.

Such as who? The only people here who seem to have seen it (other than
us) are Gareth and Bod - they both seemed to think it was alright.
