Trick R Treat timeline?

OK, finally got round to viewing "Trick r Treat" the other day, must say I
thoroughly enjoyed it, and kinda liked the way the stories were sort of
intertwined with each other, however I'm a little confused about the
timeline of events.
Having rewatched, I think it goes something like this....
MAJOR SPOILERS........
The Intro story of what happens to the couple after they come home takes
place at the end of the evening, after the events in the subsequent stories
The girls trying on their costumes takes place earlier on that evening (we
see the couple from the previous story walking through town), the story with
the psychotic headmaster burying bodies in his back yard follows straight on
and so has to take place straight after.
The subsequent story about the kids taking their pumpkins to the quarry
follows on from the psychotic headmaster. Around the same time as this
story, the sub plot about that guy who thinks he's a vampire stalking people
is taking place and the girls are partying elsewhere in the woods. This
would make sense (owing to the vampires identity) as this would have to take
place AFTER the story with the headmaster, also whilst the kids are in the
quarry, one of them claims to hear wolves in the distance and the scenes in
the quarry are intercut with scenes of the girls in the wood.
The conclusion to the girls partying in the woods story follows straight on
from from the story of the kids in the quarry, which would make sense if its
taking place at the same time as the vampire stalking people at the
festival, as the vampire sub-plot comes to an end in this story.
The start of the next story takes place earlier, at the same time as the
psychotic headmaster story, with the old guy (Brian Cox) being chased around
his house by Sam, as he appears in both stories and we see again the scenes
from the earlier story, but now shown from his POV.
The ending takes place at the same time as the intro, as we see scenes from
the intro in this, but from the old mans point of view. The ending also has
characters from the earlier story about the quarry, which would have to have
taken place after those events.
Does that sound about right to you?

I just enjoyed the hell out of the flick. I knew the timeline was
shattered, but I just mostly didn't care.
