Hallucinations on "Rosemary's Baby"

I've watched Rosemary's Baby countless times, but see new and different
things each time I watch the conception scene: she was drugged, but not
enough because she didn't finish all of her chocolate mousse...thus, some
of the hallucinations can be explained by a blending of reality and
fantasy- the picture frames of boats in troubled water and flames, etc..
I can't explain why Jackie Kennedy and the Pope were there, although I
know her character was raised Catholic. Any insights? What's more
perplexing is what she dreams after she has dinner with Minnie and Roman:
you hear Minnie's voice telling Roman it was too soon to tell the young
girl that they were being "adopted grandparents" to about the plans they
had for her (presumably about giving birth to the Son of the Devil). But
you see a strange mix of Rosemary's visions of a Nun speaking in Minnie's
voice. It was very realistic how she blended in her dream what she was
hearing across that thin wall. Anybody else have an opinion, or insight as
to what the dreams/ hallucinations mean or symbolize?

btw- anybody else notice how in the final scene the camera follows
Rosemary's point of view around the room to see everybody's reaction at
her discovery of the baby? Simply brilliant.

You know how you incorporate the things you do and say during the day
into night-time dreams? Well, Rosemary did the same thing. Remember,
the Pope was to appear in NYC - at Yankee Stadium, I think - so she
incorporated her knowledge of that into the dream sequence. And if
you've lived through the reign of the Kennedy's - the "Camelot" era,
you know that the royal couple was talked about and idolized by all of
young America. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think President
Kennedy was to appear with the Pope during his New York visit.
Also, the boat and the flames were suggested by the pictures Rosemary
saw hanging on the wall while being carried to Minniein and Roman's
apartment in her half-conscious state.

This is one of my all-time faves! Perhaps because it was so
meticulously faithful to the book. In fact, the movie screenplay was
written in that long forgotten era when screenwriters were AFRAID to
wander too far from the author's original story! Ah, if that same
fear could be instilled today!

the scenes with minnie as the nun, i think, is a past experience rosemary
had with someone jumping out the window. apperantly, the movie follows the
book almost to the paragraph. so if you were to read the book, some
answers could be revealed.

speaking of Rosemary's Baby, Anton LeVay, the founder of the Church of
Satan, played the part of the Devil in her hallucination.
